Haigh + Martino is a branding and design agency in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In 2012, they hosted a gallery show featuring printmaking work from a number of artists, including myself.
The "Esox Lucius" print is a depiction of the Northern Pike, an elusive creature of the north woods and coveted trophy fish. The spirit of Wisconsin can be found on the thousands of lakes in our state, bearing this aquatic adversary. It felt right to present the fish I so actively hunt, sporting a raw oak mount.
